Biography

Deepika Padukone is an acclaimed Indian actress, film producer, and entrepreneur. Recognized as one of the highest-paid actresses in India, she has received numerous awards, including three Filmfare Awards. She made her acting debut in the 2006 Kannada film Aishwarya and gained nationwide fame starring opposite Shah Rukh Khan in her Bollywood debut Om Shanti Om (2007). Known for her versatile performances in critically acclaimed and commercially successful films such as Cocktail, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Piku, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and Pathaan, Time magazine named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2018.
