These terms of use govern your access to and use of the CelebPedia website and mobile app. By using either of them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
We have kept this document readable on purpose. It explains what you may do with our content, what we expect from you, and the limits of what we can promise about the information we publish.
Who we are
CelebPedia is an independent, advertising-supported publication that publishes celebrity biographies, entertainment news and related reference pages. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean CelebPedia, and "you" means anyone using the website or app. You can contact us at [email protected].
Using CelebPedia
You may read, browse and share our pages for personal, non-commercial purposes. When using the site or app, you agree not to:
copy, scrape, harvest or bulk-download our content, including by automated means;
republish, resell or redistribute our content as your own or as part of another service;
use bots, crawlers or similar tools to access the service at a rate that disrupts it, other than reputable search engines that follow our robots.txt rules;
attempt to bypass security measures, gain unauthorised access, or interfere with how the service works;
use the service for anything unlawful, misleading, or intended to harm another person.
We may suspend or block access where we reasonably believe these rules have been broken.
Our content and intellectual property
The original text, structure, design and code of CelebPedia belong to us and are protected by copyright. You may quote short extracts with a visible link back to the page you took them from, but you may not reproduce complete profiles, article text, or large parts of the site.
Names, trademarks, logos and photographs relating to public figures or other organisations remain the property of their respective owners. Photographs are used with credit and where possible under the licence of their source; a credit line does not transfer any rights to you or to us.
Facts themselves — dates of birth, career credits and similar information — are not owned by anyone, but our wording, selection and arrangement of those facts is our work and protected as such.
Automated access and AI training
You may not use automated tools to extract our content for the purpose of training, fine-tuning or building machine learning or artificial intelligence models without our written permission. Reputable search engines that respect our robots.txt file may index our pages in the ordinary way.
What you send us
We welcome corrections, feedback, tips and app bug reports. When you send us a message, you confirm that:
the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
you have the right to share it, and it does not infringe anyone else's rights or breach a confidentiality obligation;
you are not sending us confidential material that you expect us to keep secret.
By sending us content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, edit, publish and display it in connection with CelebPedia. You keep ownership of what you send. We are not obliged to publish anything, and we may remove or edit a contribution at any time.
Advertising and third-party links
The service is free to use and supported by advertising, including advertising served by third-party networks. We are not responsible for the products, services or claims made in third-party advertising.
Our pages link to external websites, official profiles and app stores. Those links are provided for reference. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
The CelebPedia app
The mobile app is provided free of charge for personal use. Your use of it is also subject to the terms of the app store you downloaded it from, including Google Play. We may release updates, change features, or discontinue the app or parts of it. You may not reverse engineer, modify, resell or redistribute the app, or extract its content for reuse.
Accuracy and no professional advice
We work to keep our pages accurate and current, and we list the sources used to compile each profile. Even so, some information — especially estimates such as net worth, and details that change frequently — may be incomplete, out of date, or disputed between sources. Where a figure is an estimate, we label it as one.

Availability and changes to the service
We may add, change, restrict or remove any part of the website or app at any time, including individual pages, without notice. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.
Disclaimer of warranties
The service and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CelebPedia is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or reputation, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service or its content. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us to use the service, which for a free service is zero. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Indemnity
If a third party brings a claim against us because of the way you used the service, or because of content you sent us, you agree to indemnify us against the reasonable costs we incur in responding to that claim.
Copyright and takedown requests
If you believe content on CelebPedia infringes your copyright or another right, contact us at [email protected] with the page link and details of the material concerned. We review these reports promptly and remove or amend material where a complaint is justified.
Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes arising from them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with an updated date, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the revised terms.
